What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with applicant management workflow for recruitments
- Operate office equipment and maintain electronic filing systems
- Monitor student HR email inquiries and calendar
- Conduct new student orientations and process employment paperwork
- Perform various administrative tasks to support HR staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently enrolled as a student
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a similar role or office environment
- Familiarity with records retention schedules and filing systems
- Interest in diversity and inclusion initiatives within a university setting
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
