What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist patients in obtaining coverage for their prescription medications
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to patients, guarantors, payors, and payees
- Utilize call center software for account research and note updates
- Place calls to insurance companies to address patient needs
- Adhere to call center metrics and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have a quiet location at home to work
- Minimum of 1 year of recent insurance verification experience
- Previous experience handling high-volume calls with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in computer usage, including learning new software and managing multiple screens
- High School Diploma or GED
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare-related insurance role
