      Job summary

      As a Domestic Assistant, you will ensure a clean environment for patient care in accordance with health and safety requirements, NHS National Specification of Cleaning Standards, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE), audits and NHS Property Services policies and procedures.

      Main duties of the job

      Previous experience working within Healthcare Services. Experience of working in a customer focused environment. Experience of using different cleaning tools/equipment.

      Job responsibilities

      We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent part time, Domestic Assistant/cleaner join our team based at Nazeing Valley Health Centre, Waltham Abbey.

    • Hours of Work - 10
    • £12.36 per hour part-time working Monday to Friday 6pm - 8pm
    • Training will be provided
    • About the role: This role will deliver a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with the NHS Property Services Domestic Services Operative Manual, at the prescribed times, in line with policies and procedures and as detailed in the cleaning work schedules. No experience is required as full training will be provided. What we can offer you:
    • 27 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday.
    • Training and development opportunities, providing opportunities for you to develop and progress through our Professional Excellence Framework.
    • SMART Pension contribution into which the company will contribute up to 6%.
