What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive, scan, and document all clinical information in compliance with SOP/protocol and applicable legislation
- Collaborate with internal and external clients to gather additional information or clarification as needed
- Review source data documents and triage adverse event information and product quality complaints
- Conduct data entry and submit adverse event information into program-specific databases
- Assist with quality checks on adverse event reports and perform source data verification checks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum college level education; diploma or degree in Life Sciences is a strong asset
- 1-3 years of experience in Medical Information, Clinical Research, or Drug Safety
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance guidelines from Health Canada, US FDA, EMEA, and ICH
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Adaptability to change and a willingness to learn new skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the medical and/or pharmaceutical fields
- Bilingual in English and French
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
