Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Follow all plant safety procedures in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Prepare the proper materials from the silos and other sources prior to dry blend start-up, based on customer specifications.
• Perform the set-ups and start-ups on the dry blend production equipment.
• Monitor the production computer system and troubleshoot for problems and make the proper adjustments.
• Ensure the machines are running efficiently and according to customer specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general maintenance as required.
• Perform silo readings at regular intervals to ensure proper usage of materials.
• Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to production assistants, operators and supervisors as needed.
• Unload raw material and other materials from trucks and move to designated areas utilizing a forklift.
• Provide training or oversee training to new Dry Blend Operators and team members to perform the duties of their job.
• Assists with preventive maintenance and general maintenance when needed.
• Completes necessary production and receiving paperwork.
• Performs housekeeping duties in the Dry Blend area.
