What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage full-scope IT project management for various initiatives within the organization
- Develop and maintain project documents, including scope, schedule, budget, and impact analysis
- Perform IT vendor and contract management, including procurement activities
- Facilitate project team collaboration and apply best practices in project management
- Conduct complex analysis to determine project needs and recommend solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four years of information technology experience in relevant areas such as consulting, programming, or technical support
- Two or more years of full-scope project management experience
- One year of experience in a lead or management role
- Seven years of relevant experience in information technology, including project management
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field from an accredited institution (if applicable)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Project management certification (e.g., PMI Certification)
- Experience in state government, particularly within the employer
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Knowledge of Lean principles or Lean certification
- Experience with software testing and production support processes
