      SUMMARY

      Support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP).

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Support ARNG unit commanders and staff, from battalion to division level, by providing doctrinal workshops, over-the-shoulder training, and coaching during individual and collective event support at unit-designated training sites.
      • Responsible for collective training, including the participation in exercise design, planning, preparation, execution, and assessment activities.
      • Assist in the development of scenarios, script writing, tactical orders, and other supporting JELC products.
      • Develop Intelligence Estimates and produce OPORD Paragraph 1B (Enemy Situation), Scheme of Collection, ANNEX B (Intelligence) and ANNEX L (Information Collection) products to facilitate training INTSUM and GRINTSUM data.
      • Serve as a SME on military Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (LVC-G) training methodologies, including simulations, stimulations, and other Mission Command Training enablers as they pertain to the Intelligence Warfighting Function (Intel WFF).
      • Act as an advisor, trainer, and SME for Division and below units during planning through execution to include After Action Review (AAR) of MCTSP driven collective events.
      • Plan, coordinate, prepare, and conduct CPXs, STAFFEXs, Fires EXs, LOGEXs, Digital COMMEXs, Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) workshops, Command Post (CP) proficiency training and other supporting events associated with these exercises.
      • Plan for and execute doctrinally current STAFFEXs for ARNG Division - Battalion to provide commanders and staff the opportunity to develop and apply war-fighting skills using the framework of the Operations Process.
      • Develop doctrinally current training materials including higher command operations orders, reports, briefings and lead requested workshops.
      • Provide honest and relevant on-site feedback to unit Commanders and appropriate staff members in the form of informal discussions.
      • Prepare or provide input into the Final Exercise Report (FER) that addresses the planning, preparation, and execution of each fully executed DTT training event.
      • Conduct in-depth research on evolving doctrine, theater specific operations, lessons learned, and newly developed tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used in the development of MSEL, or simulation control injects that accurately replicate the operational environment that the training is designed for. Must determine the appropriate exercise inject methods and entry points.
      • Assist in synchronizing MCTSP training capability assets in preparation for and during collective training events.
      • Access and work with government sensitive data; participate in government meetings and conferences as required.
      • Ensure adherence to company and site policies, practices, and procedures appropriately.
      • Safeguard and maintain company and Government furnished equipment, materials, and facilities.
      • Coordinate required safety information through direct coordination with government leadership.
      • Ensure compliance with Government and contract guidelines, regulations, policies, and standards.
      • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

      None.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
      • Must have previous senior Army or ARNG leadership experience with a training management background.
      • Primary staff experience in the respective WFF at Battalion or higher.
      • At least six (6) years of combined staff experience within the WFF, or eight (8) years’ specialized MCTSP experience in this type of duty position.
      • Recent experience working within the Army National Guard training support system, or a similar system.
      • Two (2) or more years working within the WFF area Army Command and Control Information Systems.
      • Possess the knowledge and expertise to serve as the primary trainer for the following processes: Intelligence Preparation for the Battlespace (IPB), Information Collection and support to PIRs as well as support to Targeting and Information Operations.
      • Familiar with and capable of providing over-the-should support to members of the Intelligence enterprise and the following MC systems: CPOF and DCGS.
      • Capable of replicating the functions of higher HQs within the Intelligence WFF from Battalion to Division level training audiences (Support Targeting Meeting, OPSYNC and HICOM products to drive training).
      • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance (generally, U.S. Citizenship required).
      • Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

      DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

      • Experience as a battalion-level or higher commander (or equivalent) is preferred.
      • Combat Training Center (CTC) experience preferred.
      • Completion of the Command and General Staff College or equivalent level military schooling preferred.
      • Advanced skills with broad knowledge of additional Intelligence disciplines.
      • Proficient in current Army Intelligence doctrine and processes, and able to identify new and emerging Army and Joint Intelligence doctrine

      WORK SCHEDULE

      Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

      TRAVEL

      The expected travel time is 50%.

      DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

      Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is 50%.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      Work is performed in remote and onsite environments, including occasional outdoor settings, with exposure to natural conditions at different U.S. locations.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      Position consists of sitting for short periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, lifting, and carrying boxes, pouches and bags weighing up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling and working with small objects.       COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE

      • Pay range: $55,868.80 per year.
