What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming complaints, documenting and evaluating all submissions
- Conduct interviews and prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and allegations
- Collaborate with the Major Fraud Unit Supervisors and Case Review Committee on case presentations
- Utilize software and investigative tools to assist in case-related research and analysis
- Provide administrative support and maintain professional standards while interacting with complainants
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Arizona criminal and civil statutes and the roles of various law enforcement agencies
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills for effective interaction with diverse populations
- Ability to manage time, resources, and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License and consent to driving record checks
- Must be able to complete a criminal background check and pass a polygraph test
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous law enforcement experience and familiarity with the criminal justice system
- Experience as an AZPOST certified officer in Arizona or another state
- Proficiency in computer skills and strong organizational abilities
