Job Description

- Supervise EDI and VMI ordering processes
- Collaborate with Materials Planning to ensure product availability for VMI promotions and distributions.
- Collaborate with ERP Team on software upgrades, testing, bugs, etc.
- Ensure EDI transactions are completed with minimal manual intervention
- Supervise ordering process for VMI customers to ensure customer’s stated goals are met while maintaining a balance with Swedish Match
- Lead setup of new customers in ERP , EDI, and VMI systems
- Responsible for successful exchange of all electronic transactions, including purchase orders, invoicing, and advanced shipping notice, etc.
- Maintain working knowledge of all electronic transactions and customer requirements.
- Communicate with customers, Field Sales, and Marketing regarding EDI requirements
- Interact with Logistics department to resolve customer shipment issues
- Communicate with Sales in the areas of annual merchandizing promotions, special programs, new products or issues.
- Continuously review manual processes (including order entry), for improvements and/or resolutions and make recommendations.
- Proficiency in existing and future software solutions, provide training and guidance to e-Business Team as needed.
- Supervise and ensure changes to customer master records are completed in a timely manner, periodically reviewing data for relevance. ensure compliance and risk mitigation for all SOX requirements.

Major Responsibilities:
Qualifications
Education: Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Sales or Marketing preferred.
Experience: Five to seven years in customer service/sales position required.
Skills: Working knowledge of ERP Systems, Vendor Managed Inventory and EDI systems necessary.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and statistical skills required.
Excellent judgment and critical thinking skills are crucial.
Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Excel and data entry
Exceptional organizational skills necessary.
Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Must be very detailed oriented, flexible, and possess a strong desire for customer satisfaction
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working at a computer, & attending and/or leading effective meetings.
Ability to travel on an airline
