  Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The Navy's Enterprise Authoritative Data Environment (eADE) system team is seeking a Oracle Apex Developer (Software Develope r) to join their team .
  
  This position is a REMOTE working opportunity.
  
  The eADE program overall will maintain Navy O&M and Research/Development/Test and Evaluation (RDTE) for Navy Personnel and Pay systems. The eADE team will apply an authoritative data sharing framework that supports data analytics and business intelligence functions to the HR systems.
  
  You will work closely with other developers, system administrators, DBAs, cyber professionals and other members of the team to:
  • Designing, developing, migrating, testing and documenting new applications and supporting/enhancing existing applications on the APEX platform.
  • Perform system analysis and system development tasks.
  • Analyze functional business requirements to develop solutions and create technical specifications.
  • Partner with business analysts and end users to evaluate business requirements, minimal viable product requirements, and deliver required features/functions.
  • Collaborate with IT business units to ensure that security and architecture requirements are fulfilled
  • Maintain and enforce APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript etc. development and coding standards.
  • Work in DoD Secure Environment with integration to required cybersecurity framework
  • Learn new technologies and use it to solve real problems
  Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree; additional years of experience or equivalent experience in the Information Technology field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with Oracle APEX (Application Express).
  • Experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and AWS tools
  • 3 years of Java Script experience including JQuery Required
  • In-depth knowledge of logical/physical database design and strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Strong understanding of database inter-connectivity and data transfer methods such as REST etc.
  • Experience in modern web technologies e.g. HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript.
  • Thorough understanding of application development project lifecycle and associated methodologies.
  • Security+ certification
  • Secret clearance
  Desired Qualifications/Skills:
  • 2 years of Test automation skills Desired
  • MyNAVYHR and PERSMOD data experience
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services
  • Expertise with Navy data domain
  • Python coding

  The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
