      Job Description:
      This job is responsible for overseeing and influencing data analysis to drive revenue generating opportunities while maintaining accountability for the use of effective risk management strategies. Key responsibilities include coordinating with lines of business to develop sophisticated data and modeling strategies which impact and contribute to the company's overall performance. Job expectations include demonstrating leadership, promoting the adoption of enterprise information product, and possessing a commitment to responsible growth for the enterprise.

      This Regulatory and Governance Executive role supports the Enterprise Credit Analytics & Transformation Strategy (ECATS) Data Initiative and Strategy (DIS) team with a focus on modeling priorities, accurate level of review, approvals and escalation. This role will collaborate across modeling and policy workstreams to drive consistent, integrated and comprehensive framework and adherence for Enterprise Credit Commercial (ECC) models and policy requirements. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to enterprise modeling standards and regulatory compliance, as well as, monitoring of capture, transport and data use issues.

      Responsibilities Include:

      • Oversees the business analytics and critical data science initiatives, trend identification, and pattern recognition to drive decision making and the collection of data driven insights

      • Champions the adoption of enterprise information products through communicating in a clear manner how enterprise information products answer material banking questions leading to decisions and actions

      • Oversees the deployment, development, and maintenance of solution regarding data science and other information tools

      • Oversees the technical documentation process, ensuring business requirements and specifications related to the developed analytical solution are captured and driving its implementation in production

      • Maintains accountability for substantial risk by identifying potential issues, developing controls, and developing and executing mitigation strategies in a timely and effective manner

      • Possesses deep knowledge and subject-matter expertise of the latest advances in the fields of data science and artificial intelligence to support business analytics

      • Support of Enterprise Credit Commercial regulatory and audit engagements by leading FLU engagements for issues and request and ECC Model Governance routines and forums

      • Oversee Enterprise Credit Commercial Model Inventory including attestations, managing risk metrics, and overseeing support of new/existing scorecards

      • Drive Enterprise Policy Adherence for Enterprise Credit Commercial and Enterprise Credit Analytics & Transformation Strategy (ECATS) including Enterprise Management Risk Policy, Model Risk Delivery, Enterprise Architecture Software Management, Artificial Intelligence Model Policy and others

      • Engage with the Commercial Front Line Units, Enterprise Credit Risk, Model Risk Management, Global Risk Analytics to ensure focus on priorities, application of credit expertise and review and apply challenges

      • Proactively identify areas across Enterprise Credit that would benefit from additional governance focus

      Required Qualifications:

      • 10+ years of hands-on experience in regulatory or governance delivery and engagement.

      • Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; strong sense of ownership & ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight

      • Critical thinker; ability to analyze problems and identify both tactical and strategic solutions to address

      • Highly organized; able to effectively prioritize and balance multiple efforts in a fast-paced, regulatory driven environment

      • Data management experience (data quality, metadata management, governance, etc.)

      • Experience with credit-related processes and systems including the distribution/use of credit data for analytics, modeling, and reporting

      • Able to identify and remediate risks in a timely manner

      • Able to navigate the enterprise / source information across multiple functions

      • Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) experience and strong understanding of data relationships

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      • General knowledge of bank financial practices and policies

      Desired Qualifications:

      • Degree in business, computer science or related discipline

      • In-depth experience with Enterprise Credit Commercial products and functions; familiarity with Enterprise Credit Commercial policies and procedures

      • Familiarity with Enterprise Credit Commcercial systems

      • Project management and/or process design experience

      • Strong presentation skills – comfortable leading and driving conversation

      • 6+ years of extensive data analysis experience with moderate to advanced SQL or Oracle skills

      Pay and benefits information

      Pay range

      $175,000.00 - $317,600.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

      Discretionary incentive eligible

      This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
