      This position is focused on maximizing long-term Schlage brand growth, while delivering short-term revenue and POS sales across all ecommerce channels. As the eCommerce Channel Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to build the foundation, manage, and execute all marketing aspects of the business related directly to your retail e-commerce accounts. Responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing account specific promotional plans and initiatives, you will collaborate cross-functionally to communicate our customers’ needs across the organization to lead and facilitate the creation of business-building programs. Your ability to analyze data and analytics drives your strategic ideas around pricing / promotions, product launches and demand generation strategies to help drive the business.

      Key Activities

      • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to identify growth opportunities within National / Key accounts.
      • Key link between Sales and Marketing, ensuring that direction, communication, and feedback is continual and accurate fully optimizing our effectiveness in the selling process.
      • Establish productive, professional relationships with cross-functional team members and key personnel of assigned partner account(s).
      • Lead the joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
      • Lead the development and execution of eComm priorities, retail partner objectives and overall marketing plans including promotions, content, and demand generation activities in collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Channel Marketing.
      • Understand, analyze, monitor, action and continuously improve strategic internal and external partner KPIs such as POS, ROAS, ROI, VOC, competitive activities, trends, etc. for marketing, planning, and growth purposes.
      • Lead content aggregation, distribution, and optimization within assigned account(s).
      • Support new product introductions and marketing efforts including collateral development, demand creation plans, communication strategy, training tools and execution on retail channel partner’s site.
      • Understand target audience(s) key needs / desires and online purchase behavior.
      • Work with Management, Sales, and customers to develop and manage an annual channel based promotional calendar, evaluate the financial impact, execute promotions, and track results.
      • Oversee the planning, production, and implementation of the various projects / programs, etc. to the highest degree of excellence, exceeding customer expectations.
      • Benchmark Schlage against competitors and non-competitors alike in the trade to provide sales and marketing expertise to our accounts.
      • Provide input to business cases, financial analysis, and gather internal support/approval to new business opportunities identified within the channel partner assigned.
      • Provide sales and market analytics and price execution support.

      Position Requirements:

      • Education required: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or equivalent years of experience
      • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a channel, product, marketing, or category management positions
      • Previous experience with Amazon, Wayfair, other online retail websites, Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Lowes/Rona, and LBM channel would be an asset
      • Exceptional computer skills: advanced excel, PowerPoint and data mining skills

      Skills Required:

      • Strong communication skills: Skilled at presenting ideas, sharing results in formal and informal meetings
      • Strong analytical and negotiating skills
      • Proven experience with strong account planning that achieved positive business results
      • Ability to build strong cross functional relationships with Finance, Marketing, Operations and Customer Care by working with tact and diplomacy
      • Proven leadership at doing content aggregation and distribution at retailers such as, but not limited to, HomeDepot.com and Amazon
      • Experience utilizing eCommerce software and tools such as Salsify, Stackline, Pricespider, etc. or relatable experiences with portals
      • Ability to lead discussions with people at all levels of the business
      • The ability to multitask and handle various priorities
      • Organized and detail oriented
      • Bilingualism is an asset
