      ECOMMERCE ANALYST | JOB DESCRIPTION

      SUMMARY

      At Magnolia, the Ecommerce Analyst provides leadership and subject matter expertise to drive the long-term strategies needed to achieve profitable e commerce sales growth through the acquisition, retention, and reactivation of customers within the e commerce channel . This role should exhibit an understanding of what drives e commerce sales and a passion for the user experience while balancing business acumen and technical ability to convert data into actionable solutions through storytelling and data visualizatio n This position reports to the Director of Ec ommerce and has no supervisory responsibilities.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Uphold Magnolia’s manifesto and values
      • Mastery of Adobe Analytics, utilizing the tool to gather, analyze, and interpret ecommerce data
      • Configure and maintain Adobe Analytics dashboard to monitor KPI’s and track website metrics
      • Work with the Ecommerce and Development t eam s to translate business results into scalable data ; providing analytic al solutions and recommendation s to achieve e commerce sales growth
      • Use complex analytics to glean meaningful insights and actionable recommendations that the Ecommerce team, as well as cross-functional partners , can use to improve customer engagement and financial results
      • Deliver short- and long- term guidance on e commerce KPIs focused on customer counts, frequency, c onversion, order value, loyalty , and lifetime value
      • Collaborate with Ecommerce leaders on key content and product category strategies; analyze performance to inform how the customer is responding to new product launches and pricing and promotional strategies - providing insights on cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
      • Develop dashboards and reporting packages for leadership to provide insight, identify trends, and provide recommendations on customer and e commerce insights
      • Present clear summary of data and actionable recommendations for strategy improvement to leadership
      • Troubleshoot technical issues related to Adobe Analytics and site operations to ensure accurate and reliable data is being collected
      • Collaborate on the planning, executing, and analysis of A/B testing, with UX/UI teams to enhance website performance and user engagement
      • Maintain operational accuracy across the site for a seamless customer experience
      • Oversee operational initiatives , to include shipping charges
      • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities to provide proactive insights
      • Perform other duties as assigned

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Hard skills: Mastery skill level in Adobe Analytics ; p roficient in Shopify, Google Analytics, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel required ; s trong understanding of analytical approaches to Ecommerce and business planning required
      • Soft skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills ; strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to efficiently meet deadlines ; detail-oriented ; ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment ; skilled in conceptual and strategic thinking ; ability to collaborate on a high level
      • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
      • Experience: 3 + years of related work experience in data management, product information management, and/or retail analysis preferred

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
