  • Job Description

      What you'll do

      • Lead the Content Team's SEO initiative, ensuring that all PDP content is optimized for search engines.

      • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, drive traffic, and increase conversions.

      • Utilize analytics tools to monitor and evaluate the performance of our SEO efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

      • Collaborate closely with copywriters to ensure that keyword research and optimization techniques are integrated into the content creation process.

      • Work cross-banner with Sport Chek, Atmosphere, Mark's, and LEQ to align SEO strategies across multiple brands.

      • Liaise with Canadian Tire teams to coordinate efforts and leverage synergies between departments.

      • Product Content onboarding

      • Other tasks as assigned

      What you bring

      • Proven experience in SEO, specifically in optimizing content for search engines.

      • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO.

      • Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) to track performance and identify opportunities.

      • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

      • Ability to think strategically and develop actionable plans to improve organic search rankings.

      • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and understanding of the retail industry is a plus.
