What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, document, and educate partners on client EDI requirements
- Analyze business objectives and requirements to define and execute projects
- Monitor and ensure EDI compliance in areas such as member eligibility and claims data
- Manage EDI deliverables to internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between business customers and technology providers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or business disciplines or equivalent field experience
- Minimum 3 years of EDI technical or business work experience
- 3+ years of SQL experience
- 3+ years of working with HIPAA X12 Standard Transactions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience collaborating with business users, programmers, and quality assurance testers
- Comprehensive understanding of common healthcare EDI transactions: 834, 837, 835, 277U, 277CA
- Ability to create SQL queries to analyze EDI data
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and flexibility in job duties and schedule
- Ability to effectively communicate technical specifications to non-technical users
