What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Acquire and edit approximately 12+ kids and YA graphic novels a year
- Collaborate with licensed and internal partners to approve each stage of a project
- Request books, art files, and other assets from licensors as necessary
- Manage approvals, rate requests, and queries with clients
- Recruit, hire, and manage freelance editors, translators, and proofreaders

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3-5 years of publishing experience in editorial for a kids comic or manga publisher
- Excellent editorial skills and the ability to communicate effectively with publishing partners
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent writing and copywriting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual communication tools

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in manga or graphic novels
- Aptitude in Japanese or Korean language
