What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays
- Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom
- Conduct instructional exercises with individual scholars or small groups
- Supervise scholars throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom
- Participate in staff development training programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate
- Ability to work well with children
- Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use personal computer and software for various tasks

- Preferred experience working with children in a public education environment
