What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while servicing existing customers
- Manage the full sales life-cycle including prospecting, lead generation, and account management
- Stay informed about industry trends, particularly in the K-12 education market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, negotiating and closing sales effectively
- Work independently with minimal supervision while driving results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle Outside Software Sales experience
- K-12 Sales experience is a must
- Proven track record of achieving large sales quotas in the K-12 Education market
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with expertise in customer-facing roles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with Higher Education, Government, Corporate, and/or Certification clientele
- Familiarity with sales and purchasing cycles related to school districts and federal funding guidelines
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM products
- Ability to travel as required with reliable transportation
- A consultative selling approach with a "HUNTER / CLOSER" mentality
