What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently solve highly complex technical issues and document solutions
- Provide advanced support for the resolution of complex or escalated issues
- Design, program, analyze, test, and debug highly complex clinical systems
- Participate in and coordinate all phases of total system planning specifications
- Advocate for customers by leading internal teams to develop solutions that meet their needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of seven years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Epic Beaker Laboratory Information System (LIS) and Epic application certifications
- Considerable experience in conducting clinical applications analysis and programming
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in clinical laboratory science and information technology
- Direct patient care experience
- Familiarity with HL7 interfaces
- Experience with complete system life cycles from initial planning to go-live
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
