Title : EHS Specialist
Location : Greenville, OH 45331
Duration : 9 Months Contract
Construction Safety Person for Resin Improvement Project in Greenville, OH. * Work Schedule: 5 - 10 hour days (Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 4:30/5 PM) *
40-50 hours week
• Experience included brownfield construction crews safety
• Responsibilities included permit review, overseeing Lock out/Tag Out procedures for piping removal and installation
• Fire watch and confined space training, and familiar with most permit and LOTO systems.
• Daily audits for new construction installation. Perform audits and gather information to create trends and flow charts.
• Oversee and audit confined space permits Hot work permits, confined spaces access and egress to meet the client standards. Monitor Nitrogen purge process and progress
• Sign off / issue permits for Hydro or Pneumatic-testing in various units
• Sign off / issue permits for Air testing
• Brown Field operation due to existing tie ins and some of the system is in live or still online status.
• Manage Safety compliance for 75+ employees and contractors during construction of coatings plant.
• Assist in writing various JSA's for craftsman, sub-contractors, and skilled trades.
• Issue and oversee excavation permits.
• Osha 30
• Modify the CHESP Safety Program to project specifications including drafting/amending site specific safety plan.
• Accident Investigations (AIMS)
• Emergency action plans
• Behavioral Based Safety
• Environmental Awareness
• Conduct Safety Meetings
• Conduct Site observations for trending analysis
• Conduct site safety training (train the trainer)
• Able to work at heights and Harness capableAbout the company
