What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform various electrical analysis studies, including relay setting, power system, and arc flash calculations
- Conduct transient and harmonic analyses, as well as renewable energy calculations
- Travel to client offices and project sites for on-site consultation as needed
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver tailored electrical solutions
- Utilize software tools such as ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, and EMTP-RV for power system analysis
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power/Power Systems, or equivalent industry experience
- 10+ years of experience performing electrical analysis
- Proficiency in using software for power system analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to guide others
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Strong working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Successful completion of the Professional Engineering (PE) exam
