What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Adhere to company Electrical BIM Standards and participate in their improvement
- Utilize software platforms to produce accurate production-level drawings, staying current with software developments
- Generate concise Request For Information (RFIs) and ensure all drawings are complete and accurate
- Collaborate with project supervision to determine detailing scope and assist with project drawing requirements
- Maintain effective communication with the BIM/VDC Electrical Manager and field team regarding job and departmental issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial Electrical BIM/VDC
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (3), Autodesk Navisworks (3), Autodesk AutoCAD (2), Bluebeam (3), and Electrical Construction (2)
- Degree in design/drafting or equivalent work experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs., stooping, kneeling, and climbing
- Compliance with all safety procedures and successful completion of drug tests, background checks, and maintaining a clean driving record
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with additional software tools such as Fabrication CADMEP, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and related 3D detailing software
