What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop conceptual designs, perform calculations, and conduct system studies for electrical engineering projects
- Create detailed electrical drawings and ensure compliance with engineering codes and standards
- Collaborate with other engineers and designers to address technical challenges and design components
- Collect and interpret engineering data, and assist in proposal efforts and project reporting
- Organize and manage work to meet established deadlines while maintaining effective communication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
- 2 to 5 years of related experience in electrical engineering
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering theories, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with CADD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or MicroStation)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Factory, field, and/or construction experience
- Practical electrical skills
- Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and ANSI codes and standards
- Willingness to travel for infrequent field assignments
