      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide expert electrical engineering support for troubleshooting, design reviews, and failure analysis
      - Support electrical power systems and related instrumentation for gas transmission facilities
      - Participate in risk assessments and implement electrical safety standards
      - Lead the development of engineering standards and specifications
      - Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the Electrical Community of Practice

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
      - Minimum 15 years of operating plant experience, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical environments
      - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
      - In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards (CSA, IEEE, API, NFPA)
      - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally to field sites

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience supporting gas transmission pipelines
      - Detailed knowledge of CSA Z462, NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584
      - Familiarity with ETAP software
      - Background in electrical safety programs and major motor/drive systems
      - Project management or design experience in compression station electrical systems
