What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical supervision to ensure successful completion of electrical engineering project deliverables
- Initiate and convey scope of work to group members, defining deliverables and reviewing project status
- Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications at nuclear power plants
- Mentor and guide the development of other electrical engineers in the group
- Interface with clients to validate scope and ensure satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- 10 years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems for nuclear power plants
- 3 years of experience in leading an engineering design group through all phases of a project design
- Experience in the selection of equipment and preparation of engineering design change packages
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey information to project team members and clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PE Licensure is preferred
- Experience with electrical system design including low and medium voltage distribution systems
- Capability of being badged for unescorted access to a nuclear station
