What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead group members in successfully completing electrical engineering project deliverables
- Define project scope, deliverables, and ensure proper communication with team members
- Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for electrical modifications at nuclear power plants
- Provide technical oversight for engineering design change packages and calculations
- Interface with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify strategic opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- 10 years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems for nuclear power plants
- 3 years of experience in leading an engineering design group through all phases of a project design
- Experience with electrical system design, including low and medium voltage distribution systems
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and effective written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PE Licensure is preferred
- Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead engineering role
- Detail-oriented approach to work capable of unescorted access to a nuclear station
