What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive profitable sales for the Construction & Industrial business in the assigned territory
- Develop, implement, and execute effective territory business plans
- Prioritize end customers, markets, and distributors for effective territory management
- Implement promotions and directives as set by division management
- Collaborate across other territories and divisions to meet customer needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or higher and three (3) years of direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience
- OR Associate's degree and five (5) years of electrical industry sales experience
- Current, valid driver's license
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Sales experience in the Electric Construction & Industrial Market
- Field/Channel sales experience
- Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Salesforce.com
- Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within assigned territory
