      Job Title : Electrician (Low/Med/High Voltage)

      Location / Work Environment: Southern CA – Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, & Ventura counties. Traveling position – 98% on project job sites.

We mainly perform work in Southern CA, but we will perform work all throughout CA and other states when it makes sense.

      About The Opportunity: The Electrician will perform installing, testing, repairing, and maintenance of power cables and equipment.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Perform cable splicing of voltage lines.
      • Perform terminations for cabling and repairs on electrical distribution systems, collection systems, data centers, and permanent facilities.
      • Install additional power feeds to temporary and permanent facilities, and land connections on transformers, junction boxes, switchgear, switches, etc.
      • Open required switches to de-energize lines or equipment to be worked on in effort to test voltage and clamps grounding device to equipment so to ensure safety of workers.
      • Assist with installation and maintenance of transformers, capacitors, insulators, lightning arrestors, switches, circuit breakers, and other accessories used in connection with distribution lines.
      • Locate and identify failed cables to repair.
      • Work in close proximity to “hot lines” using appropriate equipment.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by Site Management.

      Successful Candidates Will Have:

      • California Electrical Certification.
      • Successful completion of Apprenticeship program with local IBEW.
      • Certifications for major manufacturers (3M, Richards, Hubbell) for terminations.
      • Certification for splicing.
      • Underground cable line work is a plus.
      • Understanding on how to do material take-off for term kits and ordering.
      • CAL-OSHA 30 Certification.
      • First Aid / Adult CPR certification.
      • Valid California Driver’s License.
      • Availability for overnight travel.

      Pay Transparency:

      The hourly rate for this position is based on the local I.B.E.W. union rates. Other benefits may apply. For those not already part of the I.B.E.W union we will facilitate joining.
