- Read and understand assembly drawings.
- Assemble and build mail automation equipment.
- Use both hand and power tools to assemble equipment.
- Work independently or within a team depending on the project.
- Ability to read assembly drawings similar to IKEA furniture blueprints.
- Recognize parts such as pulleys, bearings, springs, and gears.
- Identify hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and snap rings.
- Experience using both hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds throughout the day and stand all day.
- Candidates with strong mechanical skills and experience in mechanical assembly are preferred.
- Experience in production and mechanical assembly processes.
Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler with at least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly within an electronic or mechanical manufacturing environment. The position is a 6-month contract-to-hire role located in our Plano, TX facility. Candidates must be able to submit to a drug test. This is a full-time position on the first shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). The starting hourly rate for this position is $18-19/hr with the opportunity for pay increases based on performance. Due to the nature of our work, overtime and weekend work may be required without advance notice. We are looking for dependable, organized, and mechanically skilled individuals who are communicative, diligent, punctual, detail-oriented, and work well in a team.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
