What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Model effective teaching practices and directly impact student achievement in your content area
- Develop and manage aligned, effective unit plans and resources for designated courses
- Create and manage assessments to monitor progress toward ambitious student achievement goals
- Collaborate with educators and instructional leaders to ensure aligned instruction and support
- Design and facilitate professional development sessions for teachers and instructional leaders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Minimum of 3 years of exemplary teaching experience
- Experience as a teacher or instructional leader in an elementary school environment
- Valid Texas Teaching certificate in your content area
- Knowledge of current curricular and assessment strategies specific to your content area
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in coaching adults and facilitating professional development
- Bilingual in Spanish
