Hybrid Working
PO7: £55, 845 pa inc LW rising in annual increments to £58,995 pa
plus 20% for working out of hours, AMHP allowance of £3,000 and £4,000 market supplement.
Permanent and Full Time
The Emergency Duty Team is a highly skilled and experienced team working with vulnerable adults and children out of hours to ensure safety by responding to urgent situations and crisis that develop out of business hours. The team works across all customer groups within Lambeth completing Mental Health Act assessments, responding to child protection issues, adult safeguarding concerns and care agency no replies in addition to setting up and commissioning urgent care support and places of safety for emergencies.
You will manage a team of EDT Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) undertaking Mental Health Act assessments on a busy, diverse and varied EDT AMHP team. The manager has overall responsibility for the operation of the Emergency Duty Team AMHP service which in turn is responsible for fulfilling the authority’s prime statutory duties under the Mental Health Act 1983 outside of the hours Monday-Friday 9.00-5.00 and including night time , weekend and Bank Holiday cover
We require an experienced and motivated Team Manager for Lambeth Emergency Duty team.
• You will be online from 5PM until Midnight, and then be on standby for Call Takers to contact you. You will also undertake audits for the service, across the Front Door, Childrens Assessment and Safeguarding and other quality audits as required.
• This is a well-established team, and you will be joining a thriving and transformative service.
Essential Requirements:
• Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent and have an AMPH qualification
• Social Work England Registration
• Driving license and access to own vehicle
