What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and recommend changes to Emergency Management policies and procedures
- Access and utilize DOE Emergency Communications Network and Emergency Operations Center equipment
- Develop and deliver EM training, drills, and exercises
- Participate in the development and evaluation of annual exercises
- Provide input for internal and external assessments and department reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Business, or related Discipline
- Minimum five years of DOE Emergency Management experience
- US Citizenship required for facility access
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Working knowledge of DOE Order 151.1D
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- State emergency management agency or Certified Emergency Manager preferred
- Experience conducting research and presenting outcomes to diverse audiences
