      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform medical record number merges, patient data corrections, and overlay corrections in accordance with company policies
      - Analyze and resolve issues related to medical record merges, unmerges, overlays, and necessary chart corrections across various health systems
      - Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies to maintain patient identity integrity
      - Communicate effectively with the Data Integrity team and management regarding merges and system issues
      - Participate in process improvement activities and contribute to the development of new products and systems

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology or Information Technology preferred
      - 3-5 years of experience in healthcare HIM or IT required
      - In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years' experience as a data analyst or performing EMPI remediation tasks for a healthcare organization is required
      - Experience working with various hospital information systems, particularly in resolving duplicate medical record numbers
      - Excellent verbal and communication skills with strong customer service abilities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - AHIMA certification (RHIT, RHIA) preferred
      - Understanding of medical terminology is a plus
