What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coach and advise staff on performance management and workplace challenges
- Assist with union-related issues including grievance responses and contract negotiations
- Conduct investigations of workplace complaints and provide documentation support
- Develop initiatives to foster positive workplace relationships and inclusivity
- Collaborate with HR teams to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree
- HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Strong organizational skills and discretion in managing confidential information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with unions
- Experience in union contract negotiations
- Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Workday, and PowerPoint
