      Job Title Employee Relations Specialist

      The Employee Relations team is part of Deutsche Bank’s Performance and Reward department and has three main functions: to manage investigations, grievances and disciplinaries; to advise on Employee Relations issues, and to deliver training. The team is supported by a Governance and Control team.

      In this role you will be responsible for conducting investigations into grievances and disciplinary allegations, including making findings, drafting reports, and delivering outcomes. In doing so, they will work with the Bank’s other investigative functions, as well as with Compliance, Legal and Performance and Reward in a collaborative fashion.

      This is a senior investigative position, designed to support the Regional Head of ER and the candidate will therefore be expected to undertake a broad range of matters, including management of the most serious matters for the region.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Manage ER cases

      • Conduct internal investigations into potential misconduct

      • Advise HR Business Advisors on complaints and disciplinary matters including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances led by HR Business Advisors

      • Collaborate with HR Business Advisors on Employee Relations issues

      • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop and facilitate training and sharing cultural observations

      • Participate in special projects on a regional and global basis

      Your skills and experience

      • Previous experience working in Employee Relations or HR, particularly in relation to managing high profile, complex employee misconduct cases or complex investigations

      • Strong knowledge of employment law

      • Experience of influencing at all levels of the organisation including senior HR management, Head of Control functions and Senior Business heads

      • Critical analysis and ability to distil issues from complex Investigative reports

      • Experience of regulatory and regulatory reporting environment

      • Ability to exercise discretion/independent judgment and can make decisions in a timely manner
