- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of work experience in Fire, EMS, or Patient Transport
- Ohio Paramedic Certification at time of hire; Kentucky Paramedic certification within 6 months of hire
- NREMT within 6 months of hire
- Current driver's license & good driving record must be maintained; points not to exceed 5

Shift/Hours: 7p-7a/ Either part-time or full-time
Expected Starting Salary: EMTs $19-22.37 + $1.50 shift differential; Paramedics $22-25.86 + $3 shift differential

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Has Been Named:
Working as an EMT or Paramedic at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center you will:
· Transport patients to/from the medical center while adhering to safety requirements
· Provide patient care during transport and give full report to clinical staff at receiving facility
· Perform skills as established by CCHMC Transport Team policy and the State of Ohio Board of EMS
· Independently assess department/patient needs and respond within the scope of practice
· Promptly respond to requests from patients, families, and colleagues
· Demonstrate compliance with physical requirements of lifting, pushing, and carrying up to 400 lbs
· Integrate age-specific and culturally diverse concepts into patient care
· Comply with HIPAA guidelines
