What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and oversee all enabling works activities, including site preparation, utility diversions, and environmental monitoring
- Develop detailed project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture through regular safety tours and addressing concerns
- Oversee quality assurance and inspection processes to meet contract specifications
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders, providing clear communication and updates
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5 - 10 years of experience with at least 3 years in Construction, Engineering, and Management on large-scale projects
- Minimum Level 6/7 (NFQ) or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in enabling works supporting readiness for main construction delivery
- Knowledge of safety, health, and welfare regulations in construction projects
- Familiarity with NEC4 contracts and strong commercial awareness on large-scale projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of railway construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Competence in developing and executing comprehensive project plans and schedules
- Expertise in quality assurance and compliance with technical drawings and standards
- Additional professional qualifications in Engineering or Construction/Project Management
- Membership or working towards MCIOB or MICE (or equivalent)
