- Ensure projects follow Mosaic' capital process management (CPM Road Map) from engineering design (developing engineering work packages for projects, managing Engineering firms, reviewing deliverables) through construction and commissioning.
- Act as liaison between project stakeholders including operations, maintenance, reliability, EHS, permitting, legal, agencies, third party consultants and contractors to ensure the project meets objectives and metrics for EHS compliance, quality / performance, cost and schedule.
- Prepare, maintain, and present weekly/monthly project status reports to Mosaic Leadership including progress, productivity, cost, and schedule utilizing the Mosaic Capital Management Processes, Project Reporting Scorecards, Accurate Forecasting using SAP/CCMR and other templates (90% accuracy).
- Deliver projects consistently, on time, under budget, meeting quality expectations and without safety injuries.
- Be a leader in promoting Mosaic's safety culture and ensure safety is integrated in all phases of project execution.
- Collaborate with Procurement Group to develop procurement strategy, scope of works, prepare requests for quotes and proposals (RFQ/RFP's), list of potential bidders, conduct pre-bid meetings, clarify bidder's questions, evaluate bids, write purchase requisitions, and review/approve invoices.
- Participate in Mosaic's relentless pursuit of an injury-free workplace through project safety leadership company initiatives. Responsible for safe delivery of every project with expectation to have zero injuries on all phases of project execution.
- Mentor engineers and manage co-ops students or interns.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, civil and electrical engineering fields
- 10+ years of project management experience working on medium to large scale ($20M- $100M) capital projects in industrial plants
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, Primavera P6, and/or Maximo
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Experience managing multiple projects involving Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management phases of mechanical projects at industrial plants
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage strategic priorities by collaborating with multiple teams, both internal and external to execute projects
- Broad engineering and construction knowledge in all disciplines
- Ability to manage projects independently
- Experience delivering projects in an operating plant or brownfield environment
- Experience in case management, risk analysis and integration of safety in design, construction and future use of projects

Where will you work: This position will be located at our NA business headquarters at 13830 Circa Crossing Drive | Lithia, FL. You will also, be eligible to work a 9/80 with every other Friday off.
Project Engineer, Lead
The Project Engineering Lead will be responsible for providing project management and engineering services to proficiently manage strategic capital projects from inception through completion by following Mosaic’s CPM process and procedures to execute Mosaic's Phosphates strategic priorities. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary and detailed project planning and execution tasks focused on scoping, business case development, engineering design, scheduling, cost estimating, cost forecasting and budget control, project change management, procurement, project status reporting, supervision, construction management, and supervision of contract engineers, designers, contractors, subject matter experts, as needed to accomplish project goals. The Lead Engineer has deep technical knowledge and ability to tackle complex challenging and develop strategic opportunities into successful projects and can manage multiple projects with significant impact to the business, effective communication skills with broad influence across the organization and has the ability to lead task force teams and execute Mosaic's strategic priorities of Mosaic. The job will be primarily focused on water management and other strategic project portfolios.
