      Belong to Something Beautiful

At Sephora, beauty is about feeling seen, valued, and empowered, individually and collectively. It is connecting deeply with others, celebrating diversity and inclusivity, unlocking your potential, and making a difference every day. Together, we belong to something beautiful.

      Your Role at Sephora:

Ready for a career glow up? As Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for the core functions of network and security support, implementation, analysis, maintenance, administration and reporting for our Retail and Corporate environment, as well as Supply Chain. The work you do will impact beauty, as you ensure seamless connectivity and security across 700+ stores and corporate offices, enabling our teams to deliver exceptional beauty experiences. You'll be part of a team that's united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about leveraging technology to create productive relationships with business units and internal IT teams.

      What You'll Do:

Network Support & Troubleshooting. Provide day-to-day configuration and support of the LAN (Cisco), WAN, and WLAN (Aruba) network, troubleshooting issues and providing Post Incident Reports to management.

Security Management. Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto/Fortinet firewalls and services, ensuring compliance with corporate security policies and best practices.

Application Collaboration. Work closely with business and application owners on design, troubleshooting, support, and documentation of new application deployment and enhancements.

Infrastructure Implementation. Configure and install network and security related hardware and software, performing scheduled and emergency network maintenance.

Documentation & Compliance. Manage, modify, and maintain network and security documentation through collaborative applications, and perform internal audits to ensure compliance with all security policies.

Continuous Improvement. Proactively identify, isolate and resolve network problems to minimize business impact, and evaluate new and emerging network security trends, products and technologies.

      What You'll Bring:

Technical Expertise. 4+ years of experience with networking and security technologies, including experience configuring/troubleshooting Fortinet, PAN, or other layer 7 firewalls, and load balancer experience (F5 and other technologies).

Automation Skills. Automation experience with Ansible, Python or other scripting tools, with the ability to identify opportunities for automation within software processes, including configuration, backup, and troubleshooting.

Communication Excellence. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical tasks, and establish effective working relationships with customers, vendors, coworkers, and management.

Proactive Mindset. Results-oriented and self-motivated professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, and comes to management with suggestions rather than waiting for direction.

Educational Background. Bachelor's degree in technology related field or equivalent experience, with 6+ years of overall information technology experience.

Customer Service Focus. Customer-service-minded and tactful when dealing with stakeholders, with flexibility for off-hours project implementation and 7x24 on-call support.

      What You’ll Get:

The annual base salary range for this position is $134,820.00 - $149,800.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
