- Works independently to plan and schedule own activities necessary to meet project timelines.
- Generates documentation, such as IQ, OQ, FAT, SAT, URS, IU, tooling specification and others.
- Working knowledge of PLM, CN, EAM, CalWeb or similar systems
- Supports capital equipment procurement, installation and documentation.
- Participates with equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- SME for all tools and test equipment in the R&D Labs.
- Participates and supports internal and external audits within R&D.
- Applies knowledge of mechanical, electrical and controls systems to procure and introduce equipment for prototyping and product evaluation.
- Works cooperatively with R&D, Quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing to ensure project success.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical or equivalent
- 0-1 years of work experience
- Lab or process equipment experience
- Medical device industry experience
- Automation experience
- Electronic validation systems (ex. Valgenesis)
- Electronic data management system (ex. PLM)
- CAD experience

Stryker is looking for an Engineer, R&D to join the R&D Ops team supporting all new and existing equipment in our R&D labs for Stryker’s Neurovascular Division. This role is on-site, in Fremont, CA with the expectation to come into the office 5 days a week.
