Job Description :
Be responsible for expanding the feature set of the platform in an extensible and scalable manner. Own individual modules and act as the technical SME for them. Gather requirements and perform solutions design. Integrate Samsung’s downstream data application to Data Portal tool. Perform network architecture and optimization as well as security implementation and performance benchmarking. Enable capacity planning and load balancing/high availability. Design and implement frameworks for testing the scalability of eCommerce Platform to increase website traffic. Build solutions for monitoring eCommerce platform and website performance of Samsung website. Integrate new AWS data platform to Samsung security tools. Run Aws security and review open issues. Mitigate all open security issues and perform solutions design/security implementation. Support audit requirements and acquire sign off PEN testing for HTTPS endpoints.
Supervises 1 subordinate – Engineer II, Software Process Engineering.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 6 years of progressively responsible postbaccalaureate experience in job offered or any QA/Engineer/IT related job titles.
Applicants must have 6 years of experience in the following: (1) SWA Cloud Data; (2) Data flow architecture for data science models; (3) Analytical and Programming skills for automation coding with test frameworks; (4) PEN testing for HTTPS endpoints; (5) building solutions for monitoring security and data flow architecture; (6) Micro-services architecture for scalable platform; (7) Task break down for automation framework and scripting tasks; and (8) Devops Setup, CI/CD Pipeline creation and Periodic test report generation for feature releases. 10% domestic travel required.
Compensation for this role between $226,158 – $236,158/Year
