What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure accurate submission and management of client data and benefit plan information from providers
- Coordinate with the Claims Department regarding claim denials and eligibility issues
- Manage discharges and client update requests, ensuring compliance with internal processes
- Interact professionally with providers and internal teams to maintain a high standard of service
- Utilize data management software to complete assigned tasks with a strong focus on accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and other third-party payment sources
- Experience with member enrollment and customer service in a managed care organization (MCO) or the mental health field
- Extensive knowledge of systems used by NC DHHS, including NC Tracks and Consumer Data Warehouse (CDW)
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in data management software

- Experience in the mental health field due to the complexity of the organization's work
- Familiarity with compliance requirements related to data submission and management
