What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the Athena enrollment tasks dashboard to ensure provider and facility data is accurate and complete
- Assist in preparing and submitting enrollment applications and supporting documentation for physicians and facilities
- Audit provider rosters and payer directories to ensure accuracy and currency of payer files
- Follow up with payers to resolve enrollment and billing issues, ensuring timely updates
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all matters related to provider enrollment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare or provider enrollment/credentialing
- Knowledge of Commercial and Government insurance carrier policies and procedures as they relate to enrollment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality in handling sensitive enrollment issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid enrollment processes
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with providers and clinical staff
- Ability to motivate teams and facilitate group meetings
