      Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 Engineers (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that we support within Corporate Bank are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through ‘vertical’ CIO aligned teams and by ‘horizontals’ such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.

      About the Team

      Surveillance & Regulatory Technology: We are responsible for delivering solutions that protect Deutsche Bank’s financial and reputational interests from criminal or inappropriate behaviour. Through real-time sanction and embargo filtering, operational risk controls and sophisticated fraud detection that will increasingly deploy artificial intelligence, our systems protect both clients and the bank, allow risks to be managed according to risk appetite, and keep Deutsche Bank in compliance with global and local regulations.

      Your Role

      What You’ll Do

      As part of our global team you will be responsible for defining and implementing the technology roadmap for our Sanctions & Embargoes screening platform, Your role will include hands on development activities as well as leading and coaching our global development team and driving an engineering culture.

      Key responsibilities include

      • Provide leadership and direction for the development of proposals and delivery of initiatives, in collaboration with clients and colleagues, for all new implementation projects
      • Provide thought leadership and direction for a team of full-stack engineers, DevOps and SRE
      • Coach our delivery teams in modern engineering practices, striving to ensure that your team can build, test and release software with the short lead times and a minimum of waste.
      • Work to develop and maintain a highly automated Continuous Delivery pipeline.
      • Strive to Contribute towards a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond
      • Collaborate with other teams to build systems and integrate them together. Collaborate with others across the department to share ideas, skills and code. Create and participate in communities of practice across Deutsche Bank technology
      • Ensure that the software you build is reliable and easy to support in production.
      • A good understanding of Cloud concepts is a plus.

      Skills & Qualifications :

      Technology Skills:

      • 15-20 years of technical and functional experience in financial industry app development with technologies such as: Java, Springboot, React JS, Kafka, Cloud, CI/CD, Dev Ops, Test Automation.
      • Progressive engineering hands on development experience to lead engineering teams.
      • Experience running high availability low latency platforms
      • Strong Agile skills with running Dev Ops, IT Risk and control, SRE squads.

      Team Management:

      • Experience with people development with respect to training, upskilling, providing right opportunities within India and global squads.
      • Promotes engineering culture and improves productivity amongst India FTE and vendor staff. Grooms and coaches the team providing proper career progression.
      • Dynamic resource management and close collaboration with Corporate Bank (CB) global tribe/squad leads.
      • Excellent skills and appetite to maintain risk & control hygiene. Streamline ITAO processes with automation.
      • Will require broader promotion of people strategy activities with in CB Tech India.
      • Recruits additional talent in a timely manner, grows the team in India with new skills such as Workfusion AI, Blockchain & Tokenization.

      Stakeholder/Business Management:

      • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to work with India operations, EMEA/APAC business leaders.
      • Knowledge in Banking Payment systems and/or Transaction Screening or AFC capabilities will be a huge plus.
