What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the identification, prioritization, and cataloging of data defects and issues for remediation
- Track, assess, and oversee the resolution of data-related defects across business lines
- Act as a trusted advisor to business units, providing guidance on data management policies and data quality standards
- Develop and maintain routine and ad hoc reports related to data quality, defect remediation, and policy adherence
- Collaborate with data stewards, custodians, and governance teams to promote consistent data management practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, or similar OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, or similar
- Understanding of data warehousing and transformation methods, lineage documentation, and ETL processes
- Knowledge of data spreadsheets and databases
- Understanding of Base SAS programming, SAS Enterprise Guide, Cognos, or related programs
- Familiarity with IBM InfoSphere Information Management suite or similar
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for reporting and dashboard creation
- Proven ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for decision-making
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a data management context
- Experience in a banking or financial services environment
