Description:

Sort and inventory of Research material, which may include, but it is not limited to: wet tissues, blocks, slides, paper data, and/or temperature sensitive material.

Keep the Biorepository Coordinator informed of day-to-day progress, including irregularities, and deviations from the normal.

This role handles animal specimens (tissues, blocks, microscope slides)

Understanding the Standard Operating Procedures and equipment associated with duties

Understand significance of Quality Control procedures and performing work accordingly

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma minimum requirement

Ability to follow SOP's and maintain lab safety

Good understanding of inventory and sample management preferred.

Ability to record and enter data into the inventory systems

Good attention to detail
