- 1+ year of Healthcare data entry experience
- Must be able to type 35 WPM
- Ability to work with multiple health plan EMR systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
- Organization and attention to detail
- Must work well in a close team environment
- Community Health Center experience
Location: Onsite in San Diego, 92123
Duration: 3 Month Contract to Hire
Working Hours: Monday Friday: 9:30am 6:00pm

Insight Global is looking for a Data Entry Specialist to support a client local to the San Diego area. Our client is a provider in comprehensive behavioral and mental health services using evidence-based, cost-effective approaches. We are currently looking for healthcare data entry professionals with excellent computer skills, great attention to detail to multitask between different health plan EMRs. Ensuring that patient information is being documented correctly from one EMR to another. Responsibilities will include contacting providers for alternative contact information of members, following up on authorization status', verifying eligibility, member outreach, submitting online requests, etc..
Compensation: $18-20/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
