What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support environmental permitting and regulatory compliance efforts at federal, state, and local levels
- Conduct field assessments including wetland delineations, habitat assessments, and wildlife surveys
- Prepare clear, accurate, and compliant technical reports and environmental documentation
- Coordinate field activities, travel logistics, and equipment needs
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, ecology, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant professional experience combining field services and technical reporting
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience with wetland ecology and delineations, wildlife habitat assessments, and plant identification
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Federal, state, and local permitting experience with Southeastern U.S. agencies
- Proficiency with Windows-based software applications
- Familiarity with GPS/GIS field data collection software
- Experience producing technical documents using a variety of computer software tools
