      Job Description:

      Position Summary:
      - Investigate legal complaints related to equal rights and labor standards
      - Research and analyze complaints in cases alleging violations of various laws
      - Serve as a neutral fact finder, making fair and impartial decisions
      - Receive training and collaborate with experienced staff to develop skills
      - Work primarily in the downtown Madison office with the option to work remotely up to 80% of the time

      Qualifications:
      - Academic training or professional work experience in research and fact-finding
      - Experience providing customer service and resolving complex issues
      - Strong organizational and prioritization skills
      - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software or comparable tools
      - Effective communication skills to achieve business objectives

      Desirable Experience:
      - Conducting in-depth analysis using multiple sources and fact-finding techniques
      - Handling sensitive or high-impact situations with upset individuals
      - Caseload management and/or project management
      - Interpreting and applying civil rights or labor standards laws

      Salary Information:
      - Starting pay is $23.82/hour ($49,545 annually)
      - Additional compensation may be available for candidates with specific qualifications
