Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement/ Acquisitions and Contract Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Applied Engineering, Logistics
Must be graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master's between December 2022 and June 2024
Experience with commodities (metals, stampings, castings, plastics, resins, paint, electronics, etc.)
Experience managing commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance
Demonstrated skills in complex negotiations
Knowledge of procurement software and databases
Knowledge of materials management
Capable of interpreting market data
Able to read blueprints and to understand basic engineering documents
Solid knowledge of contract law and its applications regarding purchasing processes
Ability to travel at least 5% of time, including international travel
Job Description

Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week in SE Michigan.
The Role:
As a part of the Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Rotational Program, you will be responsible for the purchase of all or a specific portion of productive and/or non-productive materials, supplies, machinery, tooling and/or services. In addition, you will actively participate in the development of commodity strategy, sourcing/negotiations, global/regional material budget execution, and collaborate with suppliers or internal partners. This work is of a complex nature involving a considerable amount of self-motivation, analytical ability, and independent judgment.
The Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Rotational Program is for recent college graduates who will be changing jobs every six months for the first two years (we do not offer “early graduation” from the program, must complete full 2-year program). Rotational jobs may require the selected candidate to do any of the following:

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this role is $72,000 - $110,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
